Standard rate is $250. The only time it becomes more than the base price is if you require more than two hours or more than one location.
Another is distance; if there’s a good long drive involved, some costs will be added to the package.
We pick one location to shoot. This is covered over the course of 1-2 hours. You’ll also receive 25-35 edited images in print resolution, and an online gallery to for viewing and sharing.
Absolutely. It’s best if the separate locations aren’t too far from one another, but if you’re willing to pay a full days rate, we can go to as many within that time frame as you want. Note: More than one location requires a package upgrade from $250 for the session to $400.
When my wife and I were engaged, we traveled to lots of landmark locations in San Francisco and made a day of it. The day we took our engagement photos is still one of our fondest memories.
So you don’t fall behind on your planning schedule: you’ll want to plan and schedule your Engagement photos 8-10 months before your wedding, given that you want to send your Save-the-Dates (which go out six to eight months before your wedding). Booking your Engagement shoot 8-10 months gives me time to edit, send them back to you before you send off for the design of the invitations. This time goes by quicker than you think. Be wise.
There’s a term that only continues to exist today because of photographers. The advent of electricity changed the way we see the day, as it shifts into evening. There’s a an hour where it becomes very obvious it’s happening… and that is “golden hour.” Your skin looks good, the sun wont give you bright spots, nor will you be squinting from the outside brightness, and it wont be too hot or too cold for a good hour long session.
If you’re adventurous and want to change it up: you can always do a sunrise Engagement photo session.
